I never feel any reason to post here when things are going good. Which they are, really good.
The Girlfriend continues to amaze me on a daily basis.
I continue to amaze me on a daily basis.
29 was the worst year of my life.
30 is looking more and more like it might be the best.
The zoo trip last sunday got rained out but hopefully I'll remember my camera so I can take pictures at the big tattoo shop party this sunday. I might need help with the whole Flickr thing.

So far my day has consisted of flipping between The Royal Tenenbaums and The Perfect Storm, a glass of orange flavored metamucil, a glass of wine, one spoonful of Chunky Monkey and one spoonful of Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream all while waiting for Dr. Girlfriend to awaken from her beauty sleep.
I would walk the dog
but its gotten cold out again.

Ah, the sun is invigorating me. So much to get done now that it's warm out. I'm in a great mood and finally have the motivation to start taking care of business.
I live for yard work.
And turkey season starts next week. Getting bit by ticks, catching catfish, and shooting at large wild birds and squirrels.
How much more Tennessee can you get?

My legs and hips are covered in tick bites but I need to get back into the woods. I love hunting, even if I never manage kill anything.
I live 45 minutes from the darkest, deepest wildlife preserve that you could imagine. It would be a shame not to take advantage of it.
I went from living in the fourth largest city in the US to the third to the twenty ninth.
And I'll never look back.
